You decide to open your heart
To the world wide and threatening
People say it's a good thing to do
It will encourage those who're fearing
They might lose shields and shelter
But you, you know better
For there are always people
Who will take an open heart in

For most people feel attacked by us

Open minds and hearts as presumptuous

The threat of falling into the flow
But one thing will never again cease
For open hearts are the keys
to finding a life full of blissful joy
beyond what others can barely dream of

If you opened your heart and let people in

You can find deep, lasting relationships
With people you'd have found undeserving of
With a real open heart you'll find yourself detected
Cause in a way we all are connected
